Museums are a great way to introduce your children to the genre of Art. Since Cleveland is a sort of Art Hub, I am featuring many of the local museums in the Northeast Ohio area this week. All have an admission fee but I am excited to provide you information on how to attend these museums for “free” !
May 18, 2013 / 12:00pm — 2:00pm
Exhibition on view from May 18–June 30, 2013
Cleveland teens from (Museum of Contemporary Art) MOCA’s ACE program present new works about individual artistic, academic and spiritual paths. These bright and creative students translated their experiences working with contemporary artists, performers, and other students into works of their own. The exhibition challenges the students to ask “Where Am I Going?” and a video on display shares moving thoughts on “Who Have I Become?” This exhibition is a capstone project for these students from Cleveland School of the Arts and John Hays School of Architecture and Design who are the first class of Arts and Culture Enterprisers at MOCA Cleveland
Now if you are unable to attend this free opening reception there is no reason to fret. As every first Saturday in each month, MOCA opens its doors to all for free!
